My ideas for an NXT UK Midcard title

My ideas for an NXT UK Midcard title NXT UK is suffering from a massive issue of having too many wrestlers and nothing to do with them. People like El Ligero, Flash Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews aren't getting the matches and spotlight they deserve and whilst you could argue that some of these lads don't have the charisma to be main eventing that's just not true. Most of the wrestlers in NXT UK are essentially the best examples of UK wrestling like El Ligero for example, Ligero is great in ring but hasn't had the opportunities and matches he deserves. Really the only two things worth noting about him is that he had a one match feud with both Jordan Devlin and Joe Coffey but this shouldn't be the case, Ligero could have a great with most of the guys in the NXT UK roster but he just doesn't get the chance to do so. Therefore I believe it is necessary for NXT UK to get a Midcard title and personally i believ there are two options. The first option is to br

Fighting With My Family Review

Fighting With My Family Review Fight with my family attempts to tell the story of the transition from the British indies to WWE made by WWE superstar Paige. The film is very entertaining and succeeds at creating drama and very funny moments. Whilst the film is filled with inaccuracies, it acts as an interesting insight into the life  of Paige despite being incredibly inaccurate. However I found the cinematography to be quite basic and some of the acting to be lacking. One thing the film succeeds incredibly at is comedy. I personally found that the comedy was well spaced out and used when appropriate. Scenes like the opening or the dinner scene where Paige and Zak find out about their WWE tryouts to be very good. The jokes in the film appeal to adults and children alongside wrestling fans and non wrestling fans. I feel that the best comedic moments where the ones that featured Nick Frost who played Roy Knight, Paige's dad. Personally I also found the scene with Sheamus and th

AEW, My Opinion.

AEW, My Opinion. Whilst this blog is intended to focus on less popular Indy scenes I feel that it's important for us to cover what could possibly become the most popular wrestling company in the world. Whilst I feel that a lot could go wrong with the company, if it focuses on delivering unique, high quality content it may be able to resist the forces that  will hold it back.  One fear I have about AEW is that it won't appeal to casual WWE fans or even people that don't watch wrestling. To most people the main selling point of AEW is the fact that Cody and the Young Bucks are running the company. Whilst you could say that these are the early days of the company and that they haven't had their first show even and so it is impossible to say whether it will be able to draw in viewers from WWE and make new wrestling fans out of nowhere. I believe that whilst AEW might be able to draw new people to wrestling it seems it'll mostly just take viewers from WWE

NXT UK: a new era for British Wrestling

NXT UK : The New Era of British Wrestling Recently WWE have held NXT U.K. Takeover Blackpool. The show was great with a very good opening match with Moustache Mountain vs  Grizzled Young Veterans, Finn Bàlor shockingly taking on his poorly made clone or as some call him Jordan Devlin and a phenomenal main event that both allowed Joe Coffey to look even stronger than he did before and make Pete Dunne look even more like the top guy of the brand. Finally at the end of the show Walter made his debut on NXT UK when he came out to signify that he wants to challenge Pete Dunne for his title. Any way this show was great at both displaying some of the best UK talent the company has to offer but also signify a new era in British Wrestling.      WWE is the biggest wrestling company in the world and having it display what I think to be one of the best wrestling scenes in the world is great. British Wrestling used to be huge around the 70s and 80s with World of Sport, many of the older British

Top five wrestlers who need to get pushed in the 'new' era of WWE

Top five wrestlers who need to get pushed in the 'new' era of WWE 5- Finn Bàlor In 2016 Finn Bàlor was at the height of his career. In the early stages of the year, Bàlor was the longest reigning NXT champion and was putting on great matches against Samoa Joe at Takeovers and live events, even when he lost his belt he was still a massive star and had all the momentum in the world. I remember when Bàlor got his injury and had to dropped the NXT title I remember how people thought the injury was fake and that he'll make his main roster debut at Payback or something like that. When he returned he still had so much momentum and was eventually drafted to Raw where he became the first ever WWE Universal champion however had to vacate it due to injury.  Ever since then Bàlor hasn't been able to conjure up the same amount of momentum and this is due to his booking. Things are starting to look better for Bàlor with his feud with Zigler and McIntyre and so I expect him to ge

Dream Cruiserweight match announced, ECW legend retires, Bucks sign toy deal with a classic company, Reigns Tv return and more.

World of Wrestling Blog 20 Within the past week the British Wrestling company Rev Pro has released that on their High Stakes show on the 12th of January next year they will be having a dream match between the aerial assassin Will Osprey and the best cruiser weight in the world Pac ( FKA Neville). Yes that's right the dream match everyone has wanted to happen is happening and honestly I'm very excited. Pac is ridiculously talented and paired the phenomenal skill and execution of Osprey is guaranteed to be a classic.            From something exciting to something very disappointing. The ECW legend, Rhyno, has reportedly retired on this week's Raw in ,what felt like, a minute long match with Heath Slater. Now if that sounded bad that's because it is and a horrible way to retire a legend of a hardcore. I personally would have retired Rhyno in a no DQ match with Strowman but not have Strowman win quickly and instead have a more balanced match. I believe this match woul

ROH star backstage at Raw, ROH star Debuts on NXT, Tyler Breeze going to NXT, NXT UK Takeover, Huge European star to NXT and more

World of Wrestling Blog 19 At this weeks Raw, ROH star Silas Young was spotted backstage. Whilst I'm not familiar with his work from what I've seen he's a very WWE style wrestler as in he sort of reminds me of Triple H for some reason. He also seems to be good on the mic and could be a good addition to the roster but I hope he starts off on NXT as I feel that this is best way to get him a fanbase in WWE. I recommend looking at his match with ACH on YouTube as whilst it isn't the best match you'll ever see I feel it's a good introduction.        Onto another ROH star being joining WWE, Punishment Martinez made his debut on NXT at the recent tapings. On his debut he faced Matt Riddle and after the match Riddle was attacked by Khasius Ohno. Whilst ,like Young , I'm quite unfamiliar with his work and I think seeing him on NXT would be a good introduction to him.       Talking about the recent NXT tapings, Tyler Breeze returned to the place that made him.
