How Chris Jericho Should Retire.

How Chris Jericho Should Retire.

Chris Jericho has toured the world putting on classic matches everywhere but no matter what one day he will have his last match in the squared circle and that match honestly has a chance of being a five starrer based off of his recent performances.
To start things off Jericho should have his last match at Wrestlemania due to it being both a grand stage worthy of such a match but also king of iconic to Jericho are at least in my eyes. His opponent should be someone charismatic and also great in ring and so I picked Adam Cole. Cole has the ability to pull the best out of Jericho and hype the match up well plus I see Jericho retiring to a young up and comer more than a long time rival.
So the place this feud should start is at the Royal Rumble. Cole comes out 25th and stays in up to the 30th spot where Jericho comes out. Jericho eliminates Cole but Cole stays at ringside and ends up  distracting Jericho leading to him getting eliminated. On the following night at Raw Cole addresses the Jericho situation but goes no further. Jericho doesn't appear until the Pay Per View before Wrestlemania where he costs Cole his match and then proceeds to beat him up. The match is then built on the following Raws and it is constantly hinted that the match will be falls count anywhere loser retires.
We then reach NXT Takeover where Cole is in the crowd with the rest of Undisputed Era. Half way through the show Jericho out of nowhere gets in the ring and starts to cut a promo on Cole. Undisputed Era then surrounds the ring and start to enter. Jericho pounces at Cole but Strong, O'Reilly and Fish hold him back and end up setting him up for a super kick by Cole but Cole tells them to move away. Following this Cole attempts a super kick but is then interrupted by a code breaker by Jericho. Cole and the Undisputed Era then rush out the ring and go backstage. Jericho then picks up the mic and confirms that the Wrestlemania match will be fall count anywhere loser has to retire.
On the pre-show Cole tells the rest of Undisputed that they shouldn't get involved in his match, by doing this Cole shows a more babyface side thus making his character more developed and complex. The match starts with Cole attempting a super kick only for Jericho to reverse it. The first third of the match is Cole constantly underestimating Jericho and feeling the reprocussions. Half way through Jericho attempts a lionsault but gets reversed by Cole with a super kick. Form this point the match becomes more back and fourth until Jericho locks in the walls of Jericho and then the rest of Undisputed Era come out and attack Jericho but Cole pushes them away and tells that if they come out again they'll have to face him and Jericho. Eventually Cole hits Jericho with a code breaker and gets the pin fall.
Cole reaches out to Jericho but is met with an embrace from Jericho. Jericho then grabs the mic and cuts a heartfelt promo about his career. He then walks up to the top of the ramp and strikes similar to the one he made on his WWE debut. On the following Raw WWE put on a video package and then the roster come out to give their respect to the now retirees Jericho, and at the front is Adam Cole.
