Cody out of Bullet Club, Neville UK indies return, Osprey pulled from NJPW show, Crown Jewel still on! And more WoWB 16

World of Wrestling Blog

Yesterday a fan by the name of Cameron Holt asked a Cody who he would like to see join Bullet Club to which Cody replied ' The Bullet Club is all Jay's thing now. Loved being part of it! Met some good folks.' This tweet has added to the speculation of Cody and the Elite going to WWE however this is more likely just Cody and the Elite beginning to form their own brand outside of NJPW due to recent disputes with NJPW management. Whilst it is possible for them to leave NJPW permanently I see Cody and the lot focus more on the supposed Indy company they are apparently helping to start up. I guess maybe we're seeing the start of a bigger Elite faction alongside a return to the original heel roots of the Bullet Club.
Yes that's right Jericho, JR, Goldberg and the Elite are helping the Shad Khan, the owner of the NFL team the Jacksonville Tigers, to set up a wrestling company. The company will likely be base in the U.S and is reported to begin at some point in the next twelve to sixteen months and will be broadcasted on AXS TV. However AXS TV have denied the rumours and honestly this seems a pit too far fetched at points but don't rule out any possibility of it actually occurring.
Neville has been confirmed for his first show in the UK indies for big league wrestling. He will face Jake McCluskey and Dean Allmark. This is huge news and alongside this he has been announced for a match at the Irish Promotion OTT. Whilst it hasn't been confirmed that he will appear for a bigger UK promotion I view him either joining the WOS roster for the second season or go to Progress however I don't see this happening due to their relations with WWE and the same goes for ICW.
Will Osprey whilst having a match for RevPro botched a Pele kick and injured his ribs. After the match he was taken to the hospital and hasn't had a match since. He was expected to be able to work the NJPW on November 3rd where he would have a shot at the Never open weight title however recently NJPW made a statement saying that he will be unable to attend and therefore his match has been cancelled. This is bad news but in some way is good as it allows for Osprey to have more of a break which he needs as his style naturally tyres you down over time.
During an earnings report WWE stated that they are still going to Saudi Arabia despite the current events. Whilst tensions have cooled down and things seem calmer after the current Prince of Saudi Arabia made a statement on the killing at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul this is still huge news. However I am interested in what the reactions of Daniel Bryan and John Cena will be to this as they have stated that they won't go no matter what. At least we'll see the World Cup featuring people form only one country.
Talking about Crown Jewel Hulk Hogan has stated that it is very likely he will be traveling to Saudi Arabia this November. This is very interesting as both it will get a massive reaction from the Arabian crowd due to them loving guys like Hogan and it will also show a vast improvement to the relations between WWE and Hogan and maybe will be the start of more frequent appearances of Hogan.
Overall I'm fascinated with how most of these events will turn out in the next few months. Personally I'm quite eager to see how the story about Shad Khan's wrestling company goes. Stay tuned for tomorrow's upload about the best Indy scenes you've probably never heated of.
