Progress Wembley, Shawn Michaels singles match rumoured and more WoWB12

World of Wrestling Blog 12

This Sunday Progress will be holding there Hello Wembley show, the biggest show in history of progress. The show will feature matches like Pete Dunne vs Ilja Dragunov and a thunder bastard tag team title match. I thought it would be good to go through each match and give my predictions.
First up the women's title match, Toni Storm vs Jinny vs Millie McKenzie. This is sure to be a good match with each performer offering something different. In the end I think that Millie will win with a pin over Jinny however a key is that she barely wins with Toni Storm about to break the pin but the match ends, this would allow a feud between Storm and Jinny to take place.
Next is the thunder bastard tag team title match. I'm not to sure who will win but something tells me that Grizzled Young Veterans are at a good chance.
To follow this is Matt Riddle's last match in the indies. He will face Mark Haskins in a definite classic. The match is guaranteed to have hard hitting action with an emotional end with Haskins winning only to leave  Riddle in the middle Wembley for his final goodbye before WWE.
To follow this is rematch of one of the most brutal and best hardcore matches in the history of progress wrestling. Jimmy Havoc vs Paul Robinson in a no DQ grudge match. This is pretty much guaranteed to be the most brutal and extreme match in the history of progress.  I wouldn't be surprised if Paul and Jimmy killed each other. I see Jimmy winning and go on a run to the gold and then win the belt for the last time. Jimmy doesn't have too long left so it's possible he could retire at Wembley but I don't see this happening or at least not then.
Following this is the TLC match Mark Andrews vs Eddie Dennis. This is likely going to feature someone jumping off a ladder onto someone on a table. That statement somes up what I believe will happen but don't get me wrong this match will probably be great.
Next is the Bruiserweight Pete Dunne vs Ilja Dragunov. This is certainly going to be great and is pretty much Pete Dunne vs German Pete Dunne. Each man has a grappling and brawling style. This match could steal the show and probably will get at least 4.5 stars.
The second to last prediction is for Mark Douglas vs Trent Seven for the aperture title. I think this won't be the best match on the show but will be memorable. I see Trent winning and Douglas declaring he will retire fully.
Finally t h e b i g s t r o n g b o i Tyler Bate vs the Ring-general Walter. Chops, heavy lifting and clotheslines left and right are what to expect form this match. Each man is the best at their style of wrestling and performance. I believe Tyler Bate will win and close the show with his British Strong Style partners in the ring with him to close the show.
Huge news is that wrestle votes are reporting that Shawn Michaels is planned for a singles match. This comes with the news of Shawn being in a tag match with triple H against Kane and the Undertaker. These rumours are ramping up and it seems like a match of some sorts will take place. I think he'll face Styles and the match will take place at Survivor Series or Royal Rumble.
Overall I'm excited for the next couple of weeks, especially Super Show Down and Wembley. Both shows have a great line up and a great set of dream rematches.
