Hulk Hogan's WWE return, Bayley and Sasha Banks romance angle!?. WOW blog 6

World of Wrestling Blog #6

Right so Hogan has been reinstated into the WWE hall of fame and will likely take a management role in the company assuming he is willing to work. I'm happy to hear this news as Hogan is biggest icon in American wrestling, whilst I understand that he has done some messed up things in the past he has changed for the better.
      With this news came the weirdest whatculture video ever. In case you don't know whatculture is essentially the WCW of wrestling news in Britain. They once were the best until both Adams, King Rosss and Jack left, this was there fall as they only had one likeable face who was Simon Millar. Now the WWE was another group called Wrestle Talk, they had good charisma and also had storylines and inside jokes that actually made them entertaining. Anyway so whatculture uploade a video about Hulk Hogan crowning Lashely universal champion at Summerslam. This video on paper sounds okay but not deserving to be a seperate video, instead should be in a rumour round up. The video is cringeworthy as hell, the host is characterless and he worst bit.       Another shocking thing this week is the new advancements in the Sasha Banks and Bayley storyline. Now I never thought I'd say this but WWE are making this into a lesbian love story. After a tag team match, Sasha and Bayley were backstage and things escalated to Sasha telling Bayley that she loves her. There's a bit of an issue with the fact that Sasha is married. She would have had to say yes for this storyline to go ahead so then what the hell was Sahsa thinking. The segment just made me laugh and question what's the company thinking.
      Another shocker is Brock Lesnar not relinquishing his belt. Whilst I would prefer that over a part time champion at least this means we will see a full time champ in the near future of the company. Oh yeah and extreme rules was okay. I liked Rollins' match and Roman's match was okay but nothing too special.

Fighting With My Family Review

Fighting With My Family Review Fight with my family attempts to tell the story of the transition from the British indies to WWE made by WWE superstar Paige. The film is very entertaining and succeeds at creating drama and very funny moments. Whilst the film is filled with inaccuracies, it acts as an interesting insight into the life  of Paige despite being incredibly inaccurate. However I found the cinematography to be quite basic and some of the acting to be lacking. One thing the film succeeds incredibly at is comedy. I personally found that the comedy was well spaced out and used when appropriate. Scenes like the opening or the dinner scene where Paige and Zak find out about their WWE tryouts to be very good. The jokes in the film appeal to adults and children alongside wrestling fans and non wrestling fans.
